Columbia Student Says They Want to Kill Zionists and Netanyahu

Khymani James, a student at Columbia University and the leader of the anti-Israel encampment, is spouting Antisemitic rhetoric that is dangerous and a prime example of the deranged lunacy coming from the left. During a university inquiry, James unabashedly declared that “Zionists don’t deserve to live” and that the murder of Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, would be a good thing. James’s statements are a true testament to the disgusting increasing trend of Antisemitism on college campuses.

James, identifying with “he/she/they” pronouns livestreamed his university hearing, where he reiterated his severe stance against Zionists, which he had previously expressed on Instagram. It’s profoundly ironic to see a member of the LGBTQ community align themselves with forces that, frankly, would rather see them dead. Beyond this staggering irony, the individual’s statements reveal a stark, deep-seated hatred towards Jewish people and Israel.

What we’re witnessing with James’s tirades isn’t a noble stand for free speech; it’s a blatant glorification of violence, thinly veiled as political protest. Anyone with a shred of common sense can see that. To frame such dangerous rhetoric as a matter of free expression is not only misleading but deeply irresponsible. It’s an abuse of the freedoms that our society holds dear, twisting the very principles of democracy to serve a radical and violent agenda.

It’s Time for Universities to Put an End to Antisemitism

Campuses like Columbia are becoming battlegrounds where Antisemitism masquerades as legitimate criticism of Israeli policies. The notion that someone can equate the desire to kill Zionists with fighting against historical tyrants like Hitler is not just misguided; it’s dangerous. It perverts the very essence of the Jews’ historical struggle against oppression and uses it to justify modern violence.

Moreover, James’s actions and statements reflect a gross misrepresentation of Zionism, which he labels as akin to White supremacy. This manipulation of social justice language to incite aggression against a specific group is precisely the kind of behavior that should alarm both educators and the public. The response from Columbia University to this situation is also telling. The tepid reaction to such clear calls for violence against a group based on their identity shows a concerning reluctance to address this growing wave of hostility and Antisemitism.

Shame on Columbia and any institution of higher learning that turns a blind eye to such inflammatory rhetoric. It’s a disgrace when universities, which are supposed to be bastions of free thought and respectful discourse, allow themselves to become arenas where extremist language goes unchecked. By failing to address this kind of behavior, Columbia and similar institutions betray their Jewish students and the Jewish community.
