Assault on Israel Escalates with Iranian Missile Strike and Tel Aviv Terror

Iran's missile attack on Israel and the tragic Tel Aviv terrorist attack prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Israel and America are already in a war in the Middle East.

In an appalling escalation of violence, the Iranian regime has orchestrated what was the largest ever ballistic missile attack targeting millions of Israelis. Amidst this horrifying assault, a tragic terrorist attack occurred in Tel Aviv. Inbar Segev-Vigder, a new mother, was ruthlessly murdered while heroically saving her baby’s life during a terrorist rampage near Tel Aviv. The attack, which occurred late Tuesday at a train station in the central Israeli city of Jaffa, saw two Palestinian terrorists open fire and stab multiple victims in a senseless display of violence.

The heinous acts of violence perpetrated by Iran and the Palestinian gunmen, starkly delineate the battle between good and evil that unfolds in the Middle East. Iran’s regime, with its culture of death, stands in sharp contrast to Israel, a nation that cherishes and celebrates life. The timing of these barbaric attacks, occurring just days before the solemn anniversary of October 7th and on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, is a deliberate assault on the spirit and sanctity of Israel’s most significant moments of reflection.

This is no coincidence; it is a calculated move by terrorists seeking to extinguish the light and joy of Israel, aiming to undermine the very existence of the Jewish state. We cannot and must not allow this to stand unchallenged. Israel must, as it has always done, stand firm and respond with resolve to defend its sovereignty and the safety of its people.

When asked about my thoughts on Tuesday’s tragic events, my statement is unequivocal:

Iran attacked Israel, firing hundreds of missiles at the Jewish homeland. It was not “a few dozen missiles”, as CNN has blatantly misreported, but an all-out attack on the sovereign nation of Israel by the head of the serpent.

The attack lays bare the blatant lie perpetrated by the US media that Israel and the Middle East are “on the brink of war.” War started with Hamas’ barbaric attack on Israel last October, killing over 1300, committing unspeakable atrocities, and taking over 100 hostages. The war has continued to expand, day-by-day and week-by-week, due in large part to the feckless US foreign policy in the region under the Biden-Harris Administration, and their policy of appeasement towards Iran in all its facets.

Iran’s appalling attack, the second such missile attack on Israel by Iran since Oct 7th, proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Israel and America are already in a war in the Middle East, and on multiple fronts. The fact that casualties were at a minimum due to Israel’s technological superiority should in no way lessen the egregious nature of the attack by Iran onto Israeli soil, nor the need to respond directly against such aggression.

Today’s events have made two things clear. Israel must be allowed to defend its sovereignty and protect its citizens by whatever means necessary – with or without US weapons or support. Second, peace will only come to Israel and its neighbors when Iran’s current regime and all its proxies are relegated to the trash bin of history.

In times like these, it becomes more critical than ever to stand unequivocally with Israel and ensure that the safety and security of its citizens are prioritized in the face of unrelenting threats. The world must not look away; instead, we must lend our voices and our strength to those who face the scourge of terrorism on their doorstep every day.
