Israel Destroys Houthi Ports in Yemen, Defending Israel and the World

Every setback dealt to groups like the Houthis is a win not just for Israel but for global security.

In a decisive display of global leadership, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took a stand that echoes the concerns of not just Israel but the entire world. Following intense airstrikes against the Houthi targets in Yemen, Netanyahu articulated a bold assertion that the Iran-backed group poses a grave threat far beyond the borders of Israel. “They are attacking the entire world,” he declared, spotlighting the Houthi assaults on international shipping lanes and trade routes which are vital arteries of global commerce.

Netanyahu is correct in reinforcing that Israel’s actions serve a broader global good, not just its own security interests. This operation wasn’t merely a regional countermeasure, but a stern message to a proxy arm of Iran’s expansive militant network which includes notorious factions like Hamas, Hezbollah, and elements within Syria. Let’s be clear: Iran and its proxies have ambitions that extend far beyond Israel; they pose a direct threat to the West. Every setback dealt to groups like the Houthis is a win not just for Israel but for global security.

The precision strikes targeted critical Houthi infrastructures, including ports and energy facilities, crippling the group’s operational capabilities. It’s a clear testament to Israel’s resolve to not tolerate any threats to its sovereignty and to safeguard pivotal international maritime routes. Defense Minister Israel Katz’s words were unequivocal: “Whoever lifts a hand against the State of Israel will have it severed.” Such rhetoric underscores a policy of ironclad deterrence, reflecting an unyielding stance against terrorism and acts of aggression.

The world needs to wake up and see the truth. The mainstream narrative painting Israel as the aggressor couldn’t be further from the truth. Israel is defending itself, fighting a multifront war against enemies who want nothing less than its utter destruction. It’s high time we recognize that Israel’s strikes, like the recent ones against the Houthis, are a necessary defense. These terrorists pose a real and present danger not just to Israel, but to global stability. Israel’s actions should not only be supported; they should be commended. What Israel is doing safeguards not just its own citizens but, indeed, the entire world.
