China’s Unprecedented Military Build-Up Should Concern Us

A chilling DoD report outlines how China's military is growing. From missiles to psychological warfare, this report should concern every American.

In light of a chilling report from the Department of Defense, it’s evident that China’s military expansion isn’t just ongoing; it’s accelerating at a rate that should have every American on high alert. This isn’t about matching the U.S. muscle for muscle; it’s about outpacing and outmaneuvering us on a global scale. With the Trump administration gearing up to retake the White House, it’s imperative that we see a seismic shift in how the Pentagon prioritizes its resources. Our focus must be on bolstering naval strength, modernizing our nuclear arsenal, enhancing missile defenses, and ensuring our logistics are second to none.

China has swiftly built the world’s largest navy in terms of ship count, and with plans to expand from 370 to 435 vessels by 2030, their naval capabilities loom as a formidable threat. Beyond their vast naval forces, the People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force (PLARF) has enhanced its lethal arsenal with 50 new intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), now capable of striking anywhere in the continental U.S., boosting their ICBM count to 400.

Perhaps more daunting is China‘s mastery of hypersonic missiles, including the DF-27, designed to evade U.S. missile defenses and target strategic points like Guam, Hawaii, and Alaska. This isn’t just a game of numbers; it’s a clear and present danger to our national security, one that demands a strategic and immediate response.

China’s military strategy also extends into the cognitive realm, employing what’s known as cognitive domain operations (CDO). This isn’t your grandfather’s propaganda; it’s a sophisticated blend of psychological warfare and high technology aimed at manipulating public perception and decision-making to achieve “mind dominance.” Through CDO, China plans to subdue its adversaries without physical conflict, aiming to win wars by simply reshaping thought.

It’s blindingly obvious that China is gunning for the top spot as the world superpower, and they’ll stop at nothing to clinch it, including deploying advanced psychological warfare tactics. With all the buzz around a potential TikTok ban, it’s not just a good idea—it’s a necessary defense. Let’s face facts: millions of Americans are glued to this Chinese-owned platform for hours each day, unknowingly exposing themselves to Beijing’s digital manipulation. We can’t just sit back and allow China to infiltrate our homes and minds through seemingly harmless apps. It’s time to cut the cord on TikTok and safeguard our national security.

This is not the time for complacency or half-measures. As we face these escalating military advancements from China, the incoming Trump administration must act decisively. We need a full-scale mobilization of our defense capabilities, not just to catch up, but to ensure we can outpace any threats to our national security.
